The Université de Strasbourg News: Opening of the European Center for Quantum Sciences

The Université de Strasbourg and the CNRS, supported by the Région Grand Est and the Eurométropole de Strasbourg, launched the European Center for Quantum Sciences (CESQ) on October 16, 2023. CESQ focuses on experimental, theoretical, and applied quantum sciences including quantum physics, chemistry, materials, photonics, and computer science.

The center aims to expedite the discovery of new quantum compounds, advance quantum information based on atomic and molecular qubits and new algorithms, and enhance the design of more efficient and eco-friendly chemical processes.
